Our company specializes in creating and maintaining websites based on WordPress and Craft CMS. We wanted to improve website performance and loading speed, as well as meet Google’s SSL requirements, so we developed a public plugin.
We created a plugin for our GitHub account that features:
- Plugin for ISPConfig panel – which allows you to easily configure the Varnish cache using the nginx server. The plugin respects Apache variables passed through the proxy and ensures compatibility with WordPress and Craft CMS.
- Static version of the site – which uses WP Rocket on WordPress to optimize and refresh Varnish data. The site is automatically updated whenever the content or settings of the site change. On Craft CMS, we have a custom plugin that loads the entire page on the map for SEO, i.e. from an XML file.
- Varnish SSL support – which enables you to serve a cached page using HTTPS. The site thus meets Google’s security and ranking recommendations.
Thanks to our plugin, our client’s websites gained speed, stability and security. We also helped to improve their position in the Google search engine and increase website traffic.
